Light Demolition in Jacksonville Beach.

Sheds, decks, playsets, hot tubs and old flooring. We take it apart, load every piece, and haul it away in the same visit.

Take it apart. Haul it out.

Light demolition is the part of the job before the hauling. Something is still standing, or still screwed down, and it has to come apart before it can go on the trailer. We bring the saws, the pry bars and enough hands to take it down on site, then we load it and take it away. Same crew, usually the same visit.

This is work on the things around a house, not the house itself. We take down sheds, decks, playsets, ramps and hot tubs, and we pull up old flooring. Whole buildings, load-bearing walls and anything with asbestos need a licensed demolition or abatement contractor, and we will tell you at the estimate if your job is one of those.

Salt air does a lot of this work for us at the Beaches. Deck boards go soft, metal sheds rust through at the base, and fasteners seize. That changes how a structure comes apart, so we look at it in person before we quote it.

  • Decks and railings

Taken apart. Hauled away.

Three steps. That's it.

01
Free on-site estimate
We look at what is coming down, how it was built and how we get it out. You get a flat price before we start.
02
We take it apart
Saws, pry bars and a crew that knows how to use them. We work around the siding, the fence, the pavers and anything that is staying.
03
Loaded and gone
Every piece goes on the trailer. Metal gets recycled, and we clean up the spot before we leave.

Transparent pricing, no surprises.

Demolition is priced on what it takes: the size of the structure, what it is made of, and how hard it is to reach. A small playset in an open yard is quick. A deck built onto the back of the house is more work. We look at it and give you a flat price before anything comes apart.

Our minimum is $150, and the price scales from there based on volume and labor. The estimate is always free.

Light demolition, explained.

Structures and fixtures around a home that a crew can take apart by hand with saws and pry bars: sheds, decks, playsets, ramps, hot tubs and old flooring. If it is holding up a house, it is not light demolition.
No. Whole buildings, load-bearing walls and anything that needs heavy equipment go to a demolition contractor. We will tell you at the estimate if your job is bigger than what we do.
We do not handle it. Old flooring, siding or insulation that might contain asbestos needs a licensed abatement contractor, which is a company licensed to remove hazardous building materials. If you think yours might have it, tell us before we come.
It depends on the town and the community, so we can't answer that for you. Check with your city or St. Johns County building office, and with your HOA if you have one, before we schedule. Once you have the go-ahead we handle the rest.
We can. Pads and footings take more labor and weigh more to dispose of, so they are priced separately, and we will tell you that at the estimate.
For a small shed or playset, often yes. Bigger jobs like a full deck we usually schedule a day or two out. Call (904) 404-6264 and we will tell you what today looks like.
